To Begin Troweling

1.To begin troweling, push the throttle lever (Figure 28) forward to the "RUN" position.

Concrete Finishing Techniques

The following steps are intended as a basic guide to machine operation, and are not to be considered a complete guide to concrete finishing.We suggest that all operators (experienced and novice) read “Slabs on Grade” published by the American Concrete Institute, Detroit, Michigan. Read the “Training” section of this manual for more information.

Pitching the Blades (Standard Handle)

To pitch the blades upwards using the "Standard" handle, (Figure 29) simply turn the star-wheelclockwise. Turning the star wheel counter clockwise will cause the blades to lay flat.

Pitching the Blades (Quick Pitch™ Handle)

To pitch the blades upwards using the "Quick Pitch™" handle, (Figure 30) simply pull the T-handle backwards while squeezing the trigger. Pushing the T-handle forward will cause the blades to lay flat.
