ALt bP-Lt: The scanner flashes the display backlight and beeps when a Close Call signal is detected.

ALt OFF: The scanner does not provide any alert when a Close Call signal is detected.

6.Repeatedly press or until the option you want appears, then press E to select it. Otherwise, press if you do not want to select it. Then skip

to Step 11.

7.Press E while C-C.PSappears. One of the following Pager Screen options appears.

PS On: The scanner ignores hits on common pager frequencies.

PS OFF: The scanner alerts you when it receives hits on common pager frequencies.

8.Repeatedly press or until the option you want appears, then press E to select it. Other- wise press if you do not want to select it. Then skip to Step 11.

9.Press E while C-C.dnd appears. One of the fol- lowing Don’t Disturb options appear:

dnd ON: The scanner checks for a Close Call signal every 2 seconds only if the scanner is not stopped on a transmission.

dnd OFF: The scanner checks for a Close Call signal every 2 seconds even if the scanner is stopped on a transmission.

10. Repeatedly press or until the option you want appears, then press E to select.

11.When you select the option, press Scan to start Close Call search. Otherwise, to continue normal scanning, repeatedly press Func until f disappears then press Scan.
