SELECT SET EXIT MENU

Usually, it is not necessary to format the card (initializing). Format the card when this message is displayed “MEMORY CARD ERROR”.

If the card has been formatted by a PC or other equipment, format the card on the camera again.

[Preparation]

• Set the mode dial to playback [ ]. (P22)

1Press the [MENU] button.

2Press 3/4 to select [FORMAT] and then press 1.

3When this message is displayed

“DELETE ALL DATA ON THE MEMORY CARD?”, press 2/1 to select [YES].

4Press the 4/[REVIEW/SET] button.

The card is formatted.

After formatting, recorded images and any other data cannot be recovered.
