Available options

The Instant Internet 400-S unit is shipped with several options. The standard unit includes a seven-port autosensing, autonegotiating 10/100 Ethernet switch on the front of the unit and two full-duplex/half-duplex, autonegotiating 10/100 megabits per second (Mb/s) Ethernet connections.

You can also order your Instant Internet unit configured with one of the following:

Internal dual-analog V.90 modem

Internal ISDN 128K card (with or without NT1) with a Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) connection

Internal 1-Meg modem

Internal T1 connection with an ISDN backup connection

Internal E1 connection with an ISDN backup connection

Internal V.35 or X.21 serial connection with an ISDN backup connection

Note: If your unit does not have an internal analog modem or ISDN card, disregard all references to dial-up account and dial-up configuration throughout this manual.
