Yellow/Blinking

A chassis failure has been detected.

 

Off

 

The system is functioning normally.

 

 

 

Master

Green/Steady

This module is properly generating the system clock for the switch.

 

Yellow/Steady

This module has detected system clock generation failure on its own circuitry.

 

Off

 

This module is not providing the system clock for the switch. You can pull this

 

 

 

module out of the chassis without resetting the switch.

 

 

 

 

Online

Off

 

The switch power is off.

 

 

 

Or

 

 

 

The power has been turned on, and the module is going through its power-on

 

 

 

self-test and software initialization. A module in this state is not yet functional.

 

Amber/Steady

The module failed its power-on self-test.

 

Green/Steady

The module has completed its power-on self-test and software initialization and

 

 

 

is operating normally.
