Mounting the Passport 8250 device on a NEBS or ETSI rack

1Locate the bracket mounting holes on each side of the chassis.

2Attach the mounting brackets to each side of the chassis using a Pozidrive screw driver.

See “Attaching mounting brackets to chassis” (page 27) for an illustration of how to attach mounting brackets.

Note: For the NEBS rack, use the NEBS mounting brackets. For the ETSI rack, use the ETSI mounting brackets.

3Use two of the provided rack fixings to aid you in the initial location of the chassis within the rack.

4Find the desired position for the chassis on the rack.

5Using the four fixings provided, secure the unit to the rack.

See “Installing the chassis on a ETSI or NEBs rack” (page 28) for an illustration of how to install the chassis on the rack.
