PCMCIA Files tab

The PCMCIA Files tab lists the name, modification date, and size of each switch file in the PCMCIA card. The slot number indicates the chassis location of the referenced CPU/switch fabric module.

On the Metro ESU 1800, the File System tabs allow you to download firmware, upload and download configuration files, and view the history log.

Downloading firmware

Use this procedure to download the firmware.

Step Action

1From the menu bar, choose Edit > File System.

The FileSystem dialog box opens with the Firmware Download tab displayed (see "Firmware Download tab" (page 62)).
