Downloading ﬁrmware from the server

Use this procedure to download a ﬁrmware ﬁle from the TFTP server.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > File System > Firmware.

The Firmware dialog box opens with the Update tab displayed (see "Firmware dialog box, Update tab" (page 65)).

2Enter values for Addr, Filename, and LoadType .

3Click Apply to save the conﬁguration.

The ESU 1850 automatically reboots after the ﬁrmware download completes. During the reboot, Device Manager connectivity is temporarily lost.
