Management Information Base (MIB)

MIB SCSI Interface Information

The MIB gathers SCSI information for management purposes. This specific MIB provides information about the following:

Number of I/O operations per bus

Number of disconnects

Abort count

Number of bus resets

Vital Product Data (VPD) from Inquiry command for each SCSI device

￿SCSI configuration information

This information can be found in the SCSI Statistics Table, SCSI Config Group, and the SCSI Product Data Groups of the private MIB.

MIB Ethernet and Serial Interfaces Information

The Ethernet interface is used for configuration and management, so total traffic flow is relatively low. The basic Ethernet configuration items are found in the Management Interfaces (MI) Table.

The serial port is provided for user configuration. The serial port baud rate will be kept in the MI Table.
