3. SWITCHING TO THE ENERGY-SAVING MODE

If you are not going to use the equipment for a while, press the [ENERGY SAVER] button on the control

1 panel for a few seconds to enter the energy saving mode.

In this mode, the display and lighted button on the control panel are turned off and the [ENERGY SAVER] button lights in green. To start the equipment again, press the [ENERGY SAVER] button (or [COPY], [SCAN], [FAX], [e-FILING], [START] button on the control panel).

Even if the [ENERGY SAVER] button is pressed, the power supply to the printer board (and optional Fax board when being installed) is not cut off.

When a job for printing (or Fax) is received, the equipment becomes automatically ready status.
