3.Tighten the screw to secure the battery to the computer.

4.Install the Base Cover.

5.Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your computer.

Removing the Hard Drive

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer..

2.Remove:

a.Base Cover

b.Battery

3.Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:

a.Loosen the screw that secures the hard drive to the computer [1].

b.Lift the hard drive partially at a 45–degree angle [2].

c.Slide the hard drive [3].

4.Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:

a.Disconnect the hard drive cable [1].

b.Lift the hard drive from the computer [2].
