Replacing the Power-Button Module

Procedure

1Slide the power-button module cable through the slot on the front panel.

2Align and push the power-button module tabs into the slots on the front panel.

3Route the power-button module cable through the routing guides on the chassis.

4Connect the power-button module cable to the system-board connector (LEDH1). See "System Board Components" on page 15.

Postrequisites

1Replace the drive cage. See "Replacing the Drive Cage" on page 39.

2Replace the front bezel. See "Replacing the Front Bezel" on page 35.

3Replace the fan shroud. See "Replacing the Fan Shroud" on page 20.

4Replace the computer cover. See "Replacing the Computer Cover" on page 18.

5Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 11.
