Chapter 3

Managing Your Modem

This chapter describes how to perform management tasks on your DM111P ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem.

All sections in this chapter refer to functions in the modem management utility, and assumes the utility has been opened in your web browser, as described in “Opening the Web-Based Modem Management Utility” on page 2-4.

Changing the Password

To keep your modem configuration settings secure, you can change the password needed to access the modem management utility, as folllows:

1.Click Set Password in the Maintenance section of the main menu.

2.Type the new password where prompted, and click Apply.
