Installing the Interface Cables

The drawing below shows the back panel of the 56K External Call Waiting Modem and the correct cable installation. The computer interface cable has both 9-pin and 25-pin serial port connectors for use on most computers See your computer owners manual for the location and function of your serial (COM) ports.

Note: Connect only one connector (either 9 pin or 25 pin as appropriate) to your computers serial (COM) port. Do not connect both.
