7.1Introduction

The PCM-3362 has Gigabit Ethernet LAN via dedicated PCI Express x 1 lanes (Intel 82567V), that offer bandwidth of up to 500 MB/sec, eliminating the bottleneck of net- work data flow and incorporating Gigabit Ethernet to operate at 1000Mbps.

7.2Installation

Note! Before installing this driver, make sure the chipset driver has been installed in your system. See Chapter 5 for information on installing the chipset driver.

The PCM-3362s Intel 82567V Gigabit controller supports all major network operating systems. However, the installation procedure varies with different operating systems. Please find and use the section that provides the driver setup procedure for the oper- ating system you are using.

7.3Windows XP/ Vista /Win7 Driver Setup

Insert the driver CD into your system’s CD-ROM drive. You can see the driver folder items. Navigate to the "PCM-3362\03 LAN” folder and click autorun program to com- plete the installation of the driver.
