Problems with Scanning
Scanner will not scan
Cause 1: Scanner not powered up
Solution: Securely connect the AC adapter to the scanner and electrical outlet (See Quick Start Guide)
Cause 2: | Scanning unit locked |
Solution: | Unlock scanning unit by setting lock switch to unlocked position |

Cause 3: | Software incorrectly installed |
Solution: | Reinstall software (See Quick Start Guide) |

Scanning unit fails to return to ready position (front of scanner)
Cause: | AC adapter out of contact with electrical outlet or scanner while scanning |
| unit in motion |
Solution: | Clear all documents and objects from the document glass, close the document |
| cover, unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet and then plug it back in |
