Wireless-G Exterior Access Point

Wireless Repeater

When set to Wireless Repeater mode, the Access Point receives the signal from the remote Access Point and retransmits its signal. (This feature only works with the Linksys Wireless-G Exterior Access Point (model number: WAP54GPE), Wireless-G Interior Access Point (model number: WAP54GP), Wireless-G Access Point (model number: WAP54G), and Wireless-G Broadband Router (model number: WRT54G).

To configure a Wireless Repeater environment, click Wireless Repeater and enter the MAC addresses of the remote access points in the MAC fields. If you do not know an access point’s MAC address, click the Site Survey button. Select the access points you want to use and click the Apply button. Then click the Close button to return to the AP Mode screen. If you do not see the access point you want, click the Refresh button to run another site survey.
