PPP Account Configuration
PPPoE and PPPoA accounts use different connection types, however the variables that are required for configuration are the same. These variables are summarized in the table below.

The PPP Account Configuration menu presents the following user defined parameters:

| The default value of 0 will maintain a continuous ADSL connection. If you | |
Idle Time | change this value, the Modem will discontinue the ADSL connection if the | |
ADSL interface remains idle for the amount of time (in seconds) that you | ||
| specify here. A disconnection requires the modem to be reconnected using | |
| the Connect button in order to reestablish the ADSL connection. | |

When you have entered or changed the Account Configuration information according to the instructions of your ISP or ADSL service provider, click the OK button. You will be prompted to continue making configuration changes to the Modem or to save the changes you just made and restart the Modem now. Select the appropriate option and click OK.
