6Be sure that at least one external SCSI device provides SCSI bus termination power or that the last device on the bus sup- plies termination power to itself. Read the device documenta- tion if you are not sure whether the SCSI device provides termination power.

7Connect all power cables to the SCSI device(s). Then power up the device(s).

8Insert the SlimSCSI 1450 into one of your portable PC’s PC Card slots, as shown below:

PCMCIA Type II or Type III Slot (or Toshiba Type IV Slot)

SlimSCSI Adapter

9Power up your portable PC.

This completes the physical installation of your SlimSCSI 1450 and SCSI devices. Next, you need to update the SlimSCSI Windows 95 miniport driver.
