•From your tablet’s main Settings app: Settings > Accounts >

Google > Privacy > Search.

Touch each setting to learn more:

•Google Account. The account used with Google Search and Google Now.

•Manage location settings. Opens Google Maps settings, where you can turn location settings related to Google Maps on or off.

Note that this doesn’t affect the settings for Google’s location service or GPS. To turn those settings off or on, go to Settings > Personal > Location services.

•Location & Google search. Check if you want your location tak- en into account for Google search results and related services.

•Show recent searches. Check if you want search suggestions based on your recent searches.

•Manage Web History. Opens your Web History settings in a browser. You may have to sign in to reach them.
