The switch Ethernet network management interface will allow only one telnet or Web access session at a time. For this reason, the Web timeout and telnet timeout parameters should be set to reasonable timeout values. To free up a session without waiting for the Web timeout, click “Logoff.” Typing “quit” at the telnet prompt will similarly close a telnet session. Issuing a “RESET” command to the switch will also clear any existing Web or telnet sessions.
