6.2.3ATTACHING A SERVSWITCH FAMILY KVM SWITCH TO THE LOCAL UNITS CPU PORT

The way you’ll do this will depend on whether the KVM switch’s user ports are multiple connectors (see Section 6.2.3.A) or single composite connectors (see Section 6.2.3.B). (Refer to the listings in Section 4.2.2 for which ServSwitch family models are in which category.)

6.2.3.A Attaching a KVM Switch with Multiple User-Port Connectors

Attach the keyboard, video, and mouse connectors of the Extender’s included three-to-one KVM-extension cable to the matching user-port connectors on the KVM switch, as shown in Figure 6-2. Attach the DB25 male connector of this cable to the Local Unit’s DB25 female composite CPU-port KVM connector.
