To clear errors when accumulating a grand total

•When calculating a grand total, the result of the current operation is transferred to the grand total memory each time you press the * key.

•If you ﬁnd you made a wrong entry in the current operation but have not yet pressed *, use X or - to clear the error or adjust it before pressing *.

Example:

If you enter: 2+3+5+5+6, and wish to change the ﬁrst 5 to 4, enter –5 followed by +4 before pressing *.
