On-Screen Display

2. TV Screen

For detailed information on Screen Adjustment in TV mode, refer to TV Screen Adjustment Animation Clips. Screen Adjustment in TV mode does not affect the PC screen at all.

Channel

The channel system can be set in several different ways.

1) ANT / CATV

Select a channel system that is being used in your region.

ANT

STD

HRC

IRC

AFN

STD, HRC, IRC and AFN identify various types of cable TV systems.

Contact your local cable company to identify the type of cable system that exists in your particular area.

2) Auto program

The TV automatically cycles through all of the available channels and stores them in memory. This takes about one to two minutes.

In rare cases, "Auto program" may miss a couple of channels due to weak signals or for other reasons such as a channel does not exist when "Auto program" is executed.

3) Fine Tune

Due to weak signals or an incorrect antenna configuration, some of the channels may not be tuned correctly.

4) Add/Delete

Adds or erases channels from the memory.

Controls TV screen properties such as Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color and Tint.

1)Contrast : Adjust the contrast of TV without affecting PC RGB's contrast.

2)Brightness : Adjust the brightness of TV without affecting PC RGB's brightness.

3)Sharpness : Adjust the sharpness of TV image.

4)Color : Change the richness of color.

5)Tint : Change the tone of color.

6)Reset : Picture parameters are replaced with the factory default values.

Sleep Timer

Automatically shuts off the screen at a pre-programmed time (30 min, 60 min, 90 min, 120 min, 150 min, 180 min)

Closed Caption

Enable or disable closed caption feature and set the appearance of closed caption text.

Protects children from viewing inappropriate programs by blocking certain broadcast or video programs.
