Express Script Installer Menu Wizard

The Express Script Installer Menu Wizard guides you through the process of setting up the essential items for most hospital TV viewing applications and is displayed each time the TV is turned ON, unless it previously has been completed or exited.

Note: If previously completed or exited, the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard can be re-activated from the Installer Menu—set Installer Menu item 117 FACT DEFAULT to 001 to initiate the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard. See the “Installer Menu” section of this document for further information.

Note: If you plan to create a customized Master TV Setup using the procedure on pages 15 to 18, transfer (Teach) a Master TV Setup to a Target TV, or configure a TV for FTG Mode of operation, be sure to exit the Express Script in order to avoid setup conflicts that may cause the TV to malfunction.

Note: If you bypass the Express Script, pillow speaker functionality will not be enabled

unless you set Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE appropriately. See the “Installer Menu” section of this document for further information.

Upon launching, the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard prompts you to select a menu mode. Use the Up/Down arrow keys on the Installer Remote to select the appropriate option:

Select/highlight Express Script in order to proceed with the Installer Menu Wizard. Then, press OK (Enter) on the Installer Remote.

Select/highlight Exit Express Script to exit the Installer Menu Wizard. Then, press OK (Enter) on the Installer Remote.

The following procedure describes the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard. Use the Installer Remote to make selections and complete each step. You can select the Back button, where available, to check previous settings, as necessary.

Note: If you opt to exit the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard at any time while it is in progress, any settings made will not be retained.

Exit Express Script

 

1.Select the tuning band.

Use the Left/Right arrow keys to select the appropriate tuning band (Cable Standard [default], Cable HRC, Cable IRC, or Air). When you have made your selection, use the arrow keys to select Next, and then press OK (Enter).
