Playing an Audio CD or MP3 Disc

CD MP3

The DVD Recorder can play audio CDs. Also, the DVD Recorder can play MP3 formatted recordings on CD-ROM, CD-R or CD-RW disc.

Before playing MP3 recordings, read the notes on MP3 Recordings on page 36.

1AUDIO CD or MP3 CD menu appears on the TV screen.Insert a disc and close the tray.

Music menu options

1.To display menu options, select a tack (or folder) on the menu then press ENTER.

2.Use v / V to select an option then press ENTER to confirm your selection.

2	Use v / V to select a track then press
	N (PLAY).
	Playback starts.
	During playback, the current track’s elapsed playing
	time will appear on the display window and menu.
	Playback will stop at the end of the disc.

Folder: Displays the folder list on the disc.

View All: Displays all MP3 files on the disc.

You can view TV channel or video input source

by pressing AV. If you want to return to the Music

menu, press MENU/LIST.

You can switch between the Track List and

Program List menus by pressing MENU/LIST.

On the Music-MP3 CD menu, press SCAN (m

or M) to move to the previous or next page.

On CDs with mixed content (audio tracks, MP3

files and JPEG files), you can select among the

Music-Audio CD menu, Music-MP3 CD menu,

and Photo CD menu by pressing TITLE repeated-

ly.

To stop playback at any other time, press

3 STOP (x).

Open: Displays sub-folders and MP3 files only in the folder.

Program Add: Adds all track(s) in the folder to Program List. (page 37)

Folder: Displays the folder list on the disc.

View All: Displays all MP3 files on the disc.
