6. When finished programming buttons, click Next. The Upload Configuration screen is displayed.
7. Click the Upload button to begin the process of loading your new configuration to the MLC.
a. A prompt appears, asking if you want to save the configuration to a file.
•If you click Yes, a Save Configuration File window opens, on which you can enter a file name (it must have a .mlk extension) and browse to the folder in which you want to save the configuration file. (By default, this window opens to the
c: \Program Files\Extron\MediaLink folder to save configurations.)
•If you click No, the configuration is uploaded to the MLC, but it is not saved. If you overwrite it with a new configuration, it is lost.
b. If your MLC already has a configuration loaded, the following prompt opens:

•Click Yes if you want your new configuration to replace the existing one.
•If you click No, the wizard closes without uploading the configuration. If you did not save the configuration when first prompted, another prompt appears, giving you another opportunity to save the new configuration to a file before the wizard closes.
c. If you did not exit the wizard, the configuration you created is uploaded to the MLC. When the upload is finished, the screen displays the message “Upload Complete.”
8. If you want to upload this configuration to another MLC, click Upload again. You are prompted to detach the

9. When finished uploading the configuration, click Next. The Finish screen is displayed.
10. On the Finish screen, select either of the radio buttons, then click Finish.
•The first radio button closes the wizard and opens the Windows- based configuration software, enabling you to view and edit the configuration you most recently uploaded.
