Main screen with a driver added

The main screen consists of the following sections:

Menu bar

The menus on the menu bar at the top of the screen enable you to access certain functions and settings for the MLC, as well as the help file.

File menu

Save Configuration as... — Lets you specify a location and name for the current configuration and save it. (See “Saving a configuration” on page 5-23 for more information.)

Restore Configuration from... — Lets you locate and load a configuration from your computer to the MLC. (See “Restoring a configuration” on page 5-24.)

Total Factory Reset — Resets the MLC to its factory defaults. (See “Factory defaults” and “Resetting,” later in this chapter, for more information.)

Update Firmware — Starts the Firmware Loader, which enables you to load new versions of firmware to the MLC. (See “Uploading firmware,” later in this chapter, for more information.)

Exit — Closes the MLC 52 configuration program.

Tools menu

Wizard Options — Select whether the Configuration Wizard or the MLC 52 main screen will be displayed each time the configuration program is opened. (See “Selecting options for displaying the wizard,” later in this chapter, for more information.)
