Chapter1 Product Introduction

1.1Summary

DVR-470/DVR-1670 H.264 network digital video recorder is an excellent digital surveillance product. It uses the embedded MCU and real time operating system, combining the most advanced technology in Information Industry such as video and audio encoding/decoding, hard disk record and TCP/IP. The firmware is burned in the flash, more stable and reliable.

DVR-470/DVR-1670 has both the features of digital video recorder (DVR) and digital v video server (DVS). It can work stand alone, also be used to build a powerful surveillance network, widely used in bank, telecommunication, transportation, factories, warehouse, irrigation, etc.

1.2Features

Compression

zSupport max. 16 channels video input (PAL/NTSC) at most. Each channel is independent, H.264 hardware compression. For DVR-470 , total frame is 100FPS (PAL) or 120FPS (NTSC). For DVR-1670, total frame is 200FPS (PAL, first 8-ch 100FPS and second 8-ch 100FPS) or 240FPS (NTSC, first 8-ch 120FPS and second 8-ch 120FPS). Support both variable bitrate and variable frame rate.

zSupport 4 channels audio inputs. Each channel is independent, OggVorbis compression and bitrate is 16Kbps.

zCompressed video and audio are synchronous. You can select either mixed stream or only video stream.

zSupport video loop.

zSupport CIF and QCIF resolution.

zSupport multi area motion detection.

zSupport OSD and changeable OSD position.

zSupport LOGO and changeable LOGO position.

zSupport multiple record type, including real time, manual record, motion detection, external alarm, motion&alarm, motionalarm.

zSupport max. 4 IDE HDDs and each HDD can max support 2000GB.
