4.2 SNMP Menu

Select [2] from Setup menu to perform SNMP related settings. The fol- lowing figure illustrates the SNMP menu:

SNMP related settings are:

Name

: Logic name for the system (127 characters)

Location

: Location where the system is installed (127 characters)

Contact

: Contact person regarding the system (127 characters)

Community

: SNMP communities to which the system belongs and

 

access right to the system ( R : read only, W : read/write)

 

Maximum of four communitiesare supported.

Trap manager: IP address of the trap host to which a trap is issued and the trap community to which the system belongs. Maximum of three trap hosts are supported.

[Esc] key can be used to abort unfinished setting.
