The equalizer curve is selectable from among preset 6 types (FLAT, ROCK, POP, VOCAL, JAZZ, and CLUB) depending on your listening category.
SQ changeover
The SQ category is changed every time [SQ] (SOUND QUALITY) is pressed.
Note: Setting of SQ, bass/treble and volume are influenced one another. If the influence mentioned above causes distortion to the audio signal, readjust bass/treble or volume. (a page 34)
SQ is adjustable in accordance with your taste.
1 Press [PUSH SEL: SELECT] to display the AUDIO menu display.
For using the remote control, use [SEL].

2 Press [PUSH SEL: SELECT] to select “SQ SET”.
For using the remote control, use [SEL].
3 Adjust each band.
SQ Low/Bass: ±12 dB (at 60 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz, 200 Hz)
SQ Mid: ±12 dB (at 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 3 kHz)
SQ High/Treble: ±12 dB (at 10 kHz, 12 kHz, 15 kHz, 18 kHz)
q w : Centre frequency selection [s] [d] :Band selection
[}] [{] : Level up/down
Note: If [BAND] is held down for 2 sec. or more on the “SQ ADJUSTMENT” display, the preset data that is called up can be turned into the default.
4 Hold down the numeric button [2] to [6] for 2 sec. or more.
The adjusted SQ is preset in the number of the selected button, and the regular mode resumes.
Notes:
¡When the SQ preset adjustment is suspended, the recent adjustment for each level remains until a new SQ presetting operation is performed or the SQ preset is called up.
¡Any SQ presetting value cannot be saved in the [1] button.
