Setup

Press the SD button.

Move to choose Setup.

Access Setup.

Move to choose menu option.

Adjust chosen option or access chosen menu.

Rec mode (Extra fine, Super fine, Fine, Normal or Economy) Access The quality of picture can be changed.

The recordable time will be changed by Rec mode.

Notes:

Multi Media Cards do not support the Extra fine and Super fine recording mode. If the recording is started in these status, recording will automatically be performed in the Fine mode.

The quality of audio is not changed.

Rec time (No setting, 5min, 10min, 15min, 30min, 60min, 90min, 120min or 180min) Set the recording time before recording.

Note:

If you set Rec time to No setting, the recording does not stop until the card is fully recorded.

Card format

You can format the card.

Notes:

If the card is formated, all data is erased.

Only cards that are supported by the SD card slot can be formatted.

Do not remove the SD card while formatting. That may cause the card to not be able to record properly.

Memory left

You can confirm the remaining time for recording in each Rec mode.

Press the SD button.

Move to choose Memory left.

Access Memory left.

The recordable time informations are displayed by each Rec mode.

Note:

Since Multi Media Cards do not support the Extra fine and Super fine recording mode, “----” appears.
