GETTING STARTED:

1.Connect the AC power cord and plug it into an electrical outlet. The power LED will illuminate GREEN and the HDD LED will also illuminate GREEN. The message seen on the monitor will say “HDD Checking….., Master Hard Drive”, Slave Hard Drive, Not Detected. It will then go to a Quad Screen and show a camera loss (if there are no cameras connected). The screen will display “LOSS” respectively as shown below.

2.Before operating the DVR press the MENU button and set the systems “time” first (refer to page 8).

NOTE : 1. If the HDD is not installed correctly or not installed, the “HDD not found” message will appear for 3 seconds and then return to a 4 CH display mode.

2.If the keys on the DVR are locked, the default master password is 111111 to disable the key lock.

3.HDD LEDs - Flashing green LED indicates that the HDD is being detected. A steady Green LED indicates that the HDD is in use
