To return to the folder list: Use the up/down control but- tons to select the folder with the name "..". Then press the OK button. The folder list is now displayed again.

9Select the file you would like to play first using the control buttons up/down. The current file is high- lighted in yellow in the file list.

10Press the OK button. The selected file is now played/displayed.

11.General Functions During Playback

While a disc/memory card is being played, you can make use of the following functions of the DVD player:

11.1. Pausing Playback

To pause the playback:

1Press the Pause/Step button once during playback.

For DVDs only: On the screen, you will see a pau- sed image of the currently displayed scene.

2To continue playback, press the Play button once. After a few seconds, playback will be continued.

11.1.1. Stopping Playback

To stop playback, press the Stop button once.

11.1.1.2. ... with Resume Function

If you have stopped playback by pressing the Stop button once:The DVD player automatically saves the point at which you stopped the playback.This function is called the "resume function". "Press: <Play> to continue" is displayed on the tele- vision screen.As soon as you press the Play button again, the playback is continued from the saved point.

11.1.2.2. ... without Resume Function

If you have stopped playback by pressing the Stop but- ton once: If you press the Stop button a second time, the saved point at which you stopped playback is clear- ed. As soon as you press the Play button again, play- back starts again from the beginning.

11.2. Skip

This function may not be available for all DVDs/VCDs/ S-VCDs/memory cards! If you attempt to execute a func- tion that is not available, the symbol is displayed on the television screen.

ÚDVD/VCD/S-VCD: you can skip forward to the start of the next chapter. The selected chapter is played immediately; it is not necessary to press the Play button.

ÚAudio CD/CD-R or CD-RW/memory card with MP3/WMA files: you can skip forward to the start of the next title.The selected title is played immediately; it is not necessary to press the Play button.

ÚCD-R or CD-RW/memory card with JPEG files: you can skip forward to the next image in the image list.

By pressing the Skip Backward button during playback

ÚDVD/VCD/S-VCD: you can skip backward to the start of the previous chapter. The selected chapter is played immediately; it is not necessary to press the Play button.
