Depending on the data carrier the display can remain black for a few seconds until the DVD players image is again displayed.

Note:

The sound of an external device connected to the DVD players audio input will also playback if the device is set to an operating mode other than AV.

6.4 Headphone connection

Attention!

Only use the supplied earphones, type

HX206-001.

You can connect headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug to the DVD player. The headphone con- nection 2! is located on the side of the device. When you connect the headphones the loudspeaker will be switched off and you will only hear sound from the headphones.

Insert the jack plug of the headphones into the headphone connection 2!.

Important!

Listening to music over long periods with full volume on headphones can lead to hearing damage

6.5 Setting the viewing position

Your portable DVD player is equipped with a pivoting swivelling TFT display screen.

In the event that you find the image quality of a DVD to be insufficient, slightly turn the device to optimize the viewing angle.

The TFT display screen will turn 180° and fold down in this position thus allowing the display to operate when the device is closed up.
