Changing the parental lock access code

You can replace the master code with your own personal access code. This personal code is needed to change the parental lock settings if you yourself wish to play a disc unsuitable for young people.

1Select the »PREFERENCES« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »PASSWORD« by pressing »￿« or »￿«.

3Use »￿« to move to the right column and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

4Enter the master code »1234« or – if you already have one the old personal code with »1 ... 0«.

5Enter the new code with »1 ... 0«.

6Confirm the new code by entering it again and then press »DEMO/OK«.

Note:

As the master code is independent from your personal code to access the parental lock, we advise you to keep pages 42 and 47 of this instruction manual in a place where your children cannot reach it.
