Setting the colour norm for the television

1Select the »PREFERENCES« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »TV TYPE« with »￿« or »￿«.

3Use »￿« to move to the right column:

»MULTI«: PAL or NTSC video signal output is selected automatically in the multi-system.

»NTSC«: PAL video signals are converted to NTSC signals.

»PAL«: NTSC video signals are converted to PAL signals. »PAL« is the default setting

4Select the required setting by pressing »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

1 Select the »PREFERENCES« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2 Select »VIDEO OUTPUT« with »￿« or »￿«.

3 Use »￿« to move to the right column:

»S-VIDEO«: the television is connected using S-VIDEO.

– »COMPONENT«: the television is connected using Y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr. This setting is a prerequisite for Progressive Scan.

– »RGB«: the television is connected using the Euro-AV socket. »RGB« is the default value.

4 Select the required setting by pressing »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »OK«.

Activating loudspeakers

1 Select »SPEAKER SETUP« with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »DOWNMIX« with »￿« or »￿«, move it to the right column with »￿« use »￿« or »￿« to select »OFF« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

Notes:

If you select the »DOWNMIX« settings »LT/RT« or »STEREO«, only the front loudspeakers are active. If »LT/RT« is selected a two-channel downmix is conducted automatically, i.e. the central channel and the surround chan- nels are automatically mixed into the front channels. The central loudspeaker, surround loudspeakers and the subwoofer are no longer active.

For all other settings on this menu page, »DOWNMIX« must be set to »OFF«.
