Like the basic settings, you can make additional settings in the set-up menu.

Setting the picture mode

This setting controls contrast and sharpness depending on the medium inserted.

1 Select the »GENERAL SETUP« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »PIC MODE« using »￿« or »￿«.

3Use »￿« to move to the right column.

The following settings are available: »AUTO«, »FILM«, »VIDEO«, »SMART« or »SSMART«.

4Select the required setting by pressing »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

Displaying the multi-angle symbol

This function allows a scene to be played from various camera angles (multi- angle technology). The current angle and the total number of angles is displayed by the multi-angle-symbol.

1 Select the »GENERAL SETUP« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »ANGLE MARK« by pressing »￿« or »￿«.

3Use »￿« to move to the right column.

The following settings are available: »ON« or »OFF«. »OFF« is the default value.

4Select the required setting by pressing »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

Activating and deactivating the status line

You can switch the status line on and off as required.

1 Select the »GENERAL SETUP« menu item with »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.

2Select »CAPTIONS« using »￿« or »￿«.

3Use »￿« to move to the right column.

The following settings are available: »ON« or »OFF«.

4Select the required setting by pressing »￿« or »￿« and confirm with »DEMO/OK«.
