TROUBLESHOOTING

If the Phone Up 4 stops working after you suc- cessfully test it with each device, or if you are un- able to get the Phone Up 4 to work at all, check the following:

•Confirm that your remote controlled devices work properly by using the original remote control or the manual controls.

•Be sure you press the device key for the device you want to control before you press any other key.

•Replace the batteries.

•If some of the keys do not function for your device, you might be able to find a better device code. (See “Using Device Codes” on Page 36.) If in doubt, try pressing MUTE. Generally, the code that allows mute to work is the best code to use.
