5.To end the sequence, press and hold SETUP until the red light blinks twice. Whenever you press the selected favorite key, your Phone Up 4 sends the commands you entered.

Note: The Phone Up 4 must be pointed toward the device(s) the entire time you send a se- quence.

Erasing a Sequence

1.Press and hold SETUP until the red light blinks twice.

2.Press 9 9 5. The red light blinks twice again.

3.Press the favorite key you want to erase (F1,

F2, F3, F4).

4.Press and hold SETUP until the red light blinks twice. Your sequence is erased.

PUNCH-THROUGH

Using Punch-Through

Punch-through lets you control two different de- vices without pressing the device key for each one first. Here’s how it works.

Not all of the Phone Up 4’s keys are used by ev- ery device. If you select one device, then select another device that does not use all of the func- tions, the Phone Up 4 can still control some of the first device’s functions.

For example, a TV is often the only device that uses the volume keys. If you press TV, then press VCR, the volume keys continue to operate the TV, but other keys control the VCR.
