Display Functions

The DVD Player Display shows current operation, disc type, elapsed playback time and other useful information.

Some functions require specific disc formats or features.

Dimming the Front VFD Display

Adjusting the Brightness of the Front Display

With NO DISC in the unit, the DISPLAY button functions as a 4-phase Dimmer for the DVD Player’s front VFD (Vacuum Flourescent Display).

DISPLAY

Eject the Current Disc

Open the disc tray to change the operation of the DISPLAY key to the DIMMER function. After removing the disc, you may close the disc tray to better see the front display.

Press the DISPLAY Button

Press the DISPLAY button repeatedly to cycle through the four brightness levels.
