The remote control

Batteries

Insert so the poles (- and +) match those in the remote control. Do not use rechargeable type batteries.

Do not;

mix old and new batteries

use different types at the same time heat or expose to flame

take apart or short circuit

attempt to recharge alkaline or manganese batteries use batteries if the covering has been peeled off

Mishandling of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage which can damage items the fluid contacts and may cause a fire.

If electrolyte leaks from the batteries, consult your dealer.

Wash thoroughly with water if electrolyte comes in contact with any part of your body.

Remove if the remote control is not going to be used for a long period of time. Store in a cool, dark place.

Replace if the unit does not respond to the remote control even when held close to the front panel.

Use

Aim at the sensor, avoiding obstacles, at a maximum range of 7 m directly in front of the unit.

Keep the transmission window and the unit’s sensor free from dust.

Operation can be affected by strong light sources, such as direct sunlight, and the glass doors on cabinets.

Television operation

You can control televisions by changing the remote control code.

Preparation

Turn on the television.

Switch [DVD, TV] (15) to “TV”.

1Refer to the chart below for the code for your television.

2Press and hold [TV, Í] (14) and enter the two-digit code with the numeric buttons (4).

For example: 01, press [0] )[1].

After entering the code, test the remote control by turning on the television and changing channels.

Notes

If there is more than one code, repeat the procedure until you find the code that allows correct operation.

Repeat this procedure after you change the batteries.

If your television brand is not listed or if the code listed for your television does not allow control of your television, this remote is not compatible with your television.
