EDITOR

Use the Editor feature to make changes to your GUIDE PLus+ GOLD program line up. Since cable systems may include dozens of stations, Editor allows you to turn the display of information for any channel on or off. It is especially useful for turning off stations you do not watch.

Press the GUIDE/TV Button

Press the MENU Button to access the toolbar

To Editor

The current channel listing for GUIDE Plus+ GOLD will appear.

To move through the channel list

To turn the display (Grid, Sort, etc,) for a station on or off.

Press the GREEN Button

You can also use the Channel Editor to change the channel number of a specific station. For example if your cable system moves PBS from channel 13 to channel 08 you can make the correction to your station listings with the Channel Editor.

To change the channel number of a specific station: To move through the channel list

10 Key pad to enter the new channel number. (For example to change PBS to channel 08, press "0" and "8").

Note: If you have a cable box with two inputs (A and B) you must select an input (A or B) with the arrow keys after enter- ing a channel number.

The new channel number is saved automatically.

If you make a mistake while using Channel Editor, or decide you would like to go back to your old settings, you can restore the previous Channel Editor settings. To restore your previous Channel Editor settings:

Notes:

Channels that are "turned off" in Channel Editor will still be received by the television. To stop the reception of a channel, see "Channel Summary", page 34.

Any changes made to the Editor screen may be cancelled while the screen is displayed. Once you leave Channel Editor, those settings are saved and cannot be cancelled. Any previous settings would have to be restored manually (i.e. inputting the previous channel number).
