BUTTON FUNCTIONS

Quick reference for the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD buttons on your remote control.

If additional information about an item is available this icon will appear. To access this added information, use the INFO button.

GUIDE/TV

Use this button to enter and exit the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD system.

GUIDE/TV

Note: This button may be pressed at any time while in the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD system .

ENTER

The ENTER button inputs items highlight- ed from the menus into the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD system. Pressing ENTER will activate your choice.

VCR+

GUIDE Plus+ GOLD gives you the option of one-touch programming of your VCR with VCR Plus+. Simply press the VCR+ button.

VCR+

A screen will appear asking you for the PlusCode for the program you wish to record. (PlusCodes can be found on the program Grid feature or in your local televi- sion listings).

Using the 10-key pad on your remote, enter the PlusCode that goes with the show you want to record. Then press ENTER.

Enter all digits of the PlusCode

(can be from 3 to 8 numbers long)

The Schedule window will now appear.

NOTES:

If your cable box has two antenna terminals and you connect to this television through the antenna B terminal, you can- not timer-program with PlusCodes.

While the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD menu screen is dis- played, you can move to the tool- bar by pressing the MENU button.

GREEN BUTTON

Press this button to activate the function described next to the green button at the top of the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD screens.

BLUE BUTTON

Press this button to activate the function described next to the blue button at the top of the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD screens.

BLUE

Note: Button function will vary between screens.

The program matching the PlusCode you entered will now appear on the Schedule list.

GUIDE/TV to return to normal television viewing, or

To move to GUIDE Plus+ GOLD toolbar and other functions.

Notes:

To record, your VCR must be off.
