The Clock is the heart of all timer functions. The clock must be set before the timer functions work.

ON/OFF TIMER

YOU tell the TV to turn on and off. Use it as an alarm to wake up, as a program reminder, or to simulate that you’re home when you’re out of the house.

Notes: A Timer Preview window will appear in the PIP, lower right corner of your screen, 7 seconds before the Timer changes the current channel to the timed program chan- nel.

In order for ON/OFF Timer to work, the clock must be set. After a power interruption the clock will be can- celled.

ON/OFF Timer cannot be set to locked or guarded channels.

NOTES:

You must have the clock set to oper- ate the On/Off Timer.

Once you setup GUIDE Plus+ GOLD (page 18), you will not need to set the clock. The clock will be set automatically by GUIDE Plus+ GOLD. You will not be able to manual- ly set the clock to a different time.
