1.ANALOG IN-1 and -2 (ANALOG IN on LV-X6) / Com- ponent Input Connector (Mini D-Sub 15 Pin) Connect your computer or other analog RGB equip- ment such as IBM compatible or Macintosh comput- ers. Use the supplied RGB cable to connect to your computer. This also serves as a component input con- nector that allows you to connect a component video output of component equipment such as a DVD player. This connector also supports Scart output signal. See page 15 for more details.

2.ANALOG IN-2 / Component Input Connector (Mini D-Sub 15 Pin)

Connect your computer or other analog RGB equip- ment such as IBM compatible or Macintosh comput- ers.

Use the supplied RGB cable to connect to your com- puter. This also serves as a component input connec- tor that allows you to connect a component video out- put of component equipment such as a DVD player.

3.AUDIO IN Mini Jack (Stereo Mini) (LV-7250 only)

This is where you connect the audio output from your computer or DVD player when connected to the COM- PUTER input. A commercially available audio cable is required.

4.MONITOR OUT Connector [ ] (Mini D-Sub 15 Pin)

You can use this connector to loop your computer image to an external monitor from the RGB input source.

This connector outputs RGB signal in standby mode.

5.AUDIO OUT Mini Jack (Stereo Mini)

You can use this jack to output sound from the cur- rently selected source (COMPUTER, VIDEO or S- VIDEO). Output sound level can be adjusted in accor- dance with the sound level of the internal speaker.

Note that this cannot be used as a headphone jack. (When audio equipment is connected, the projector speaker is disabled.)

When a cable mini-plug is inserted into this jack, both the right and left audio signals are not mixed, but sepa- rate.

For example, when a cable mini-plug is inserted into the left AUDIO IN jack only, only left sound is output.

6.VIDEO IN Connector (RCA)

Connect a VCR, DVD player, laser disc player, or docu- ment camera here to project video.

7.S-VIDEO IN Connector (Mini DIN 4 Pin)

Here is where you connect the S-Video input from an external source like a VCR.

NOTE: S-Video provides more vivid color and higher resolution than the traditional composite video format.

8.AUDIO IN Jacks L/R (RCA)

These are your left and right channel audio inputs for stereo sound from a Video/S-Video source.

These jacks support an RGB audio source on LV-X6.

9.SERVICE PORT (Mini DIN 8 Pin)

Use this port to connect a PC or control system to control the projector via an optional RS-232C serial cable (LV-CA34). If you are writing your own program, typical PC control codes are on page 65.

The projector supports a variety of input options, including HDMI and standard VGA, making connectivity to various devices seamless. Additionally, the LV-7250 includes a 1.2x optical zoom and keystone correction features, allowing for flexible setup and easy alignment of images.

The Canon LV-X6, on the other hand, elevates the projection experience with its enhanced brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens and native SVGA resolution (800 x 600). This model is specifically designed for larger venues, where higher luminosity is essential. The LV-X6 features multiple connectivity options, including HDMI, USB, and composite video, accommodating different presentation formats and devices.

Both models incorporate advanced DLP technology, offering high contrast ratios that enhance the clarity and depth of projected images. They also ensure long-lasting performance with an extended lamp life of up to 6000 hours in Eco mode, reducing the need for frequent replacements and enhancing cost-effectiveness.

In terms of portability, both projectors are lightweight and compact, making them easy to transport between locations. They come equipped with built-in speakers, providing clear audio playback without the need for external sound systems, although connections for separate audio systems are available for enhanced sound quality.

The user-friendly interface and remote control availability further simplify operation, allowing users to navigate menus swiftly and access features easily. A robust cooling system ensures efficient thermal management, keeping the projectors operational for extended periods without overheating.
