Activate Factory Setting

This function will delete all personal settings, and will restore all default settings as program- med in the factory.

Delete all programmes

This function will delete all channels/programmes stored in memory.

>Use the up/down arrow keys to select the entry.

>Confirm with the OK key.

Please note any notes and information displayed on the screen.

EPG

Your receiver provides the facility of receiving expanded EPG information specifically prepa- red by us. This enables you to preview programmes for up to a week in advance. The data is

broadcast via a dedicated satellite data signal.

Press the OK key to display the sub-menu EPG. Should the parameters of the data chan- nel used for loading the EPG list have changed, they can be changed in this menu as descri- bed under points 7.7.3 and 7.7.4 (search for transponders and programmes). Current trans- ponder information can be obtained from your retailer, or from our homepage in the Internet (see page 44).

Under normal circumstances you should not change the settings in this menu.

In order to receive the expanded EPG data, you must enter Download activated. If you do not want to receive the expanded EPG data, you should set the entry to Download activated no.

Service Channel

You also have a facility to update the operating software of your receiver via satellite.

>Press the OK key to display the sub-menu Software.

>In order to carry out a software update, mark the entry Download activated.
