6.10TimeShifting & Pausing Live TV

If your Live TV viewing gets interrupted and you don’t want to miss

anything, you can press to freeze the action.

Magic TV™ will ask if you want to enter TimeShifting mode. If yes, it will remain paused and immediately begin recording the current programme. You can press play at any time to resume viewing from where you left off.

The programme now displays a and behaves like a Recorded Programme (see above) and you can rewind, fast forward, pause and skip in exactly the same way within the segment of the programme that has been recorded.

To return to the live broadcast, you can either fast forward/skip to the end of the recording or press LIVE at any time.

TimeShifting recordings have a lower priority than Scheduled Recordings. If a conflict occurs, Magic TV™ may switch channels in order to record as Scheduled.
