Satellite Receiver Multi-

Brand Remote Control

The VCR's remote control can control functions on the brands of satellite receivers listed below.

TURN ON THE SATELLITE

RECEIVER

1 Turn the power on using the satellite receiver’s remote control.

ENTER SATELLITE RECEIVER

2 While holding down POWER on the VCR's remote control, use the NUMBER keys to enter the satellite receiver brand number from the chart below and then press STOP.

Follow the example shown at bottom left.

Once you have set the remote control to operate the

satellite receiver, you don't have to repeat this step

until you replace the remote control's batteries.

OPERATE SATELLITE

RECEIVER

3 Press CABLE and POWER in succession to see if the satellite receiver’s power goes off as it should. If it does, try other functions.

To operate your satellite receiver, press CABLE first, then press the corresponding button: POWER, CH and NUMBER keys (or ENTER).

Depending on the satellite receiver you may have to press ENTER after having pressed the NUMBER keys.

NOTES:

Depending on the kind of satellite receiver, there may be cases where some or all functions cannot be operated using the remote control.

It's not possible to set the remote control for both your cable box and your satellite receiver at the same time; you can only set the remote control to the brand of either one.

You have to subscribe to a satellite broadcaster to receive satellite channels.
