*When the menu switch <REPEAT REC> is set to “ON”, externally activated recording is not executed.

OPE OFF: The Stop mode is engaged and the operating power mode

is turned off.

Outputs a tape end signal from the rear panel’s [TAPE END OUT] terminal

when the tape reaches the set tape reel counter value during recording.

During series recording, a series recording signal is output to a connected

VCR for continuous recording.

Alarm recording: When an alarm signal is input to the rear panel’s [ALARM IN] terminal during recording, the mode switches to the 2H (SP) or 6H (EP) : U model, 3H (SP) : E model recording mode for realtime recording of the alarm event.

Sensor recording: When an alarm signal is input to the rear panel’s [ALARM IN] terminal in the Stop mode (Stop mode, Timer Recording Standby or Operating Off mode), recording starts in the 2H (SP) or 6H (EP) mode : U modeo, 3H (SP) mode : E model.

OFF:

Alarm or sensor recording is not executed.

ALARM: Alarm recording is executed.

SENSOR: Sensor recording is executed.

ALL:

Both alarm and sensor recording are executed.

Selects the recording mode for alarm or sensor recording.

2H: Records in the 2H (SP) mode.

6H: Records in the 6H (EP) mode.

Selects the recording duration for alarm or sensor recording.

5 — 180: Alarm or sensor recording is performed for the specified time (5

 

sec. to 180 sec.)

TAPE END: Alarm or sensor recording continues to the end of the tape.

MANUAL: Alarm or sensor recording continues for as long as alarm

 

signals are input. Set to this position when specifying the

 

alarm recording time with a switcher.

 

*To ensure accurate alarm search and alarm scan operation,

 

be sure to set the recording time to 5 seconds or more.
